The week starts with no school on Monday, December 30, through Wednesday, January 1, allowing students and staff to enjoy an extended winter break. Classes resume on Thursday, January 2, with a busy slate of activities for the week ahead. The Huntley Project High School Girls' and Boys' Basketball teams will play at Lodge Grass, with games at noon. The high school wrestling team will host the HP Mixer at 5:00 PM. On Friday, January 3, the Boys' Basketball team hosts Joliet with games at 2:00 PM (C-Team), 3:30 PM (JV), and 6:30 PM (Varsity), while the Girls' Varsity Basketball team plays at 5:00 PM. The wrestling team will compete in Bozeman at the Tom LeProwse Bozeman Invitational, starting at 11:00 AM, with departure set for 7:00 AM. The wrestling team continues their competition in Bozeman, beginning at 9:00 AM. Great way to start off 2025!

Adult Education Weigthroom will be closed until January 6th.

The Huntley Project School District has no T-shirt sales supporting programs. There are some sales for gear with programs, but you will receive a secure link. No people are calling from our school or our program to sell shirts. If you receive any requests for donations for T-shirt sales, do not donate. If you have any doubts, please call 406-967-2540 and ask for Mr. Kaczmarek or Mr. Wandle, as they will know the current fundraising opportunities being conducted.

The elementary concert season is upon us, and it's time to celebrate the holiday spirit with our talented students! Join us on December 5, 2024, for the Huntley Project Elementary Concerts in the commons. The evening will kick off at 5:30 PM with the Kindergarten performance, followed by 1st Grade at 6:00 PM, 2nd Grade at 6:30 PM, 3rd Grade at 7:05 PM, and the 4th Grade at approximately 7:35 PM. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a night filled with music, holiday cheer, and the wonderful voices of our young performers! We look forward to seeing you there!

Huntley Project Weekly Calendar December 2-7.

HP strongly supports the local food bank. The first event is the elementary CatGriz, or Griz-Cat, food drive. This year, the winner was the CATS, who donated 411 food items, while the GRIZ donated 179. That is 590 items that will support our local food program! The Junior High coin drive was held to support our local food bank. The JH students collected money for our local food pantry this November. This year, the group raised $1,118.00. 🎶🎄 Join us for a night of festive melodies and community spirit! The Huntley Project JH/HS Music Department proudly presents a special evening of music, dining, and fundraising on Wednesday, December 18th, in the HP High School Commons. Doors open at 5:30 PM, with a delightful dinner and concert starting at 6:00 PM. Tickets are just $30 per person and include access to a silent auction and raffle drawings to support the HP Music Department. Parent-teacher conferences are on November 21st. There will be an early out at 1:00 PM. The conferences run from 1:30 PM to 6:45 PM, allowing us to clear the building by 7:00 PM.

The “fourpeat “ is complete as the Red Devils pull the reverse sweep! They defeat a tough and determined Florence-Carlton team to win the State Class B volleyball championship. What a season and tournament for the Red Devil Team and coaches! This team’s perseverance, work ethic, and determination paid off as the state Class B championship trophy will stay on the Project! The Final scores from Bozeman were 13-25, 15-25,, 25-22, 25-20, and 15-10! The trophy parade is anticipated for 7:30 PM. They will start at the Pryor Creek exit.
